From High School to College Writing

Here is a link I found from the University of Chicago website, there is a PDF version for those of you that would like to save it on your computers.

It explores the crucial differences between High School writing and College writing.

It was written by Lawrence McEnerney, and Joseph M. Williams.

Hello Students!

Hello there, my little owls!

This is my new website, where you can find updates here on news, college information, scholarships, deadlines, a few jokes here and there, and more importantly, links to your class pages.

Feel free to send me emails with links to updates you would like for me to post up on the website for your classmates. Funny pictures and memes are welcome as long as they are appropriate.

On the class websites, located on your right hand corner under “Blog Roll,” you will find updates on class activities, as well as any upcoming quizzes, tests, and homework.

It is imperative that you come to school every day, but I understand that emergencies occur. If you miss class, or would like to remain updated on our classroom activities, be sure to check this website frequently.

Let it be known that anything and everything mentioned in class is to be considered the final word. I am only human and if for any reason cannot update here every single day, the “go-to” rule is that anything said in class is what goes.

Have a fantastic day and expect updates shortly!!!

-Ms. Fernandez
